Designing a living release evidence circuit

Release readiness is not one score produced at the end of testing. It is a changing view of requirement quality, coverage, execution evidence, unresolved risk, environment health, defects, and accountable decisions.
A living evidence circuit keeps every signal linked to project and run context. It distinguishes blockers from warnings, observed results from inferred conclusions, and automated recommendations from approval decisions.
Useful release signals
- Requirement ambiguity and approval state.
- Risk-weighted scenario and automation coverage.
- Functional execution stability and failure clustering.
- Performance objectives, percentile behavior, and saturation evidence.
- Defect severity, ownership, duplication, and release linkage.
- Missing evidence, stale context, and policy checkpoints.
Teams can then explain why a release is ready, not merely report that a dashboard is green.
